Our Summer Season is between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend (daily schedule announced each May). During the Summer Season, the NMAI is open on a general admissions basis without a need for reservation. See below for current hours.

The Museum is open year-round by advance reservation for Group Tours (6 persons or more) and private VIP tours (minimum of 4 persons). For Admissions Information and Reservations, telephone 401-851-8949, ext. 18.

PARKING

FREE parking is available for automobiles, buses, motorcycles and bicycles opposite our main gate on Victoria Avenue.


GROUP TOUR

Group Tour rates are $15 per person. A minimum of six (6) persons is required for the group rate. Bus tours are welcome. Frequently, other visitors are appended to Group Tours at the individual admission fee rate ($18). Group Tours must specify in advance if they would like the tour to be exclusive of other visitors.

We require that Group Tours make advance reservations by Telephone, Fax, or Email.
All Group Tours are accommodated at the discretion of the Admissions Office and require deposits in advance.

PRIVATE VIP TOUR
Admissions

Private VIP Tours can be arranged to your schedule and are offered at $100 per person with a four (4) person minimum.

    'No Shows' will be billed half (1/2) of the scheduled admissions fee per person, as a penalty.

Admissions

Tickets may be purchased upon arrival at the NMAI by cash, check or all major credit cards.

Checks should be made payable to the American Civilization Foundation, our IRS approved 501 (C) 3 organization; a nonprofit, independent, educational and aesthetic organization which operates and administers the Museum. All proceeds support the NMAI's efforts to protect, preserve and exhibit American illustration art in perpetuity.

The NMAI is a member of the American Association of Museums, New England Museum Association, Museum Store Association, National Association for Olmsted Parks, and the Attractions Council of Newport County.

The NMAI is not a federal government organization, but exists due to the benevolence of its founders and others, and with support from people like you. It is a private, nonprofit organization which shares its art collection with the public whenever possible and at its sole discretion.
