Mission

The photographs shown on this page are but a small sampling from our extensive archives. The archives are replete with images of the exterior and interior architecture, details, wideangle shots, MUSEShop, formal Renaissance Revival gardens, and the Frederick Law Olmsted Park. The archives also include aerial views, seasonal, night and day, construction/renovation underway, events, visitors, celebrities, normal scenes, exterior sculpture, flower gardens, anon.

Use of any photographs or jpgs will require an advance written request on letterhead, approval from the NMAI, and the imperative use of our captions and credit lines. In certain cases, there are industry standard charges for reproduction permission and usage.
