2008 SEASON - NEW ADMISSIONS POLICY
From May 24 through September 1 the Museum will be open on a General Admissions basis on Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sundays 11:00pm to 4:00pm, closing at 4:45pm. A guided tour will be held every Friday at 2:00pm by advance reservations.

FALL / WINTER ADMISSIONS POLICY
The Museum is open
year-round for tours by advance reservation. All reservations are
subject to availability and admission is granted at the discretion of the
Admissions Office. From time to time, the museum is open on a General Admissions basis when the green OPEN flag is flying.
Visitors
should arrive 15 minutes prior to reservations and allow 1 hour to 1 1/2
hours to enjoy the viewing. Visitor parking is available.
Please Note
Well: Children ages 5 to 12 are now permitted entry, but only if they are vouchsafed by parents or guardians as being 'well-behaved.' Proper dress is required, at all times. Photography, cellular phones, backpacks, large bags, food, drink, gum, and smoking are not permitted in the museum. Visitors may be asked for photo identification at any time at the discretion of museum staff.

but admissions fees can be paid by credit card, check or cash on arrival.
- No Shows will be billed 1/2 of the admissions fee
per person as a penalty.
GROUP
GUIDED TOUR
Group Guided Tour
rates are $20 per
person. A minimum of fifteen (15) persons is required for this discounted
group rate. Bus tours are welcome. Frequently, other visitors are appended to
Group Guided Tours at the individual admission fee rate ($25). Group Guided Tours must
specify in advance if they would like the tour to be exclusive of others.
We require that Group Guided
Tours make advance reservations by Telephone, Fax, or Email. Group Guided Tours are accommodated at the
discretion of the Admissions Office.
PRIVATE VIP
TOUR
Private VIP Tours
can be arranged and are offered at $100 per person with a four-person
minimum.

Checks should be
made payable to the American Civilization Foundation, our IRS approved 501 (C) 3
organization; a nonprofit, independent, educational and aesthetic
organization which operates and administers the Museum. All proceeds support
the NMAI's efforts to preserve and exhibit illustrations in perpetuity.

The NMAI is a member of the American Association of Museums, New England Association of Museums, American Federation of the Arts, Museum Store Association, The National Association for Olmsted Parks, the Newport County Chamber of Commerce, and the Attractions Council of Newport County.
The NMAI is not a federal government organization, but exists due to the benevolence of its founders and others, and with support from people like you. It is a private, nonprofit organization which shares its art collection with the public whenever possible and at its sole discretion.
