American
Civilization Foundation: The National Museum of
American Illustration is operated and administered by the American Civilization
Foundation, a 501 (c) (3), IRS approved nonprofit organization. It is an
independent, educational and aesthetic foundation, dedicated to bringing
the greatest American illustration art to the public.
Giving
Opportunities: Gifts to the Museum are made through our nonprofit organization the American Civilization Foundation and
may be made in cash, securities, art, real estate, and other forms of
property. Naming and memorial-giving opportunities are available
as well. Gifts may be made unrestrictedly or alternatively they may
be directed to specific needs of the Museum or tailored to the goals of the donor(s). Additionally,
deferred giving options are available which may provide significant
income and tax benefits to the donor(s).
Giving
Options: Donors may underwrite exhibitions, name public spaces and
/or exhibition galleries, they may contribute to the Endowment Fund or simply endow staff positions, sponsor exhibitions and openings, underwrite and support
educational programming or sponsor special events, and traveling exhibitions. The National Museum
of American Illustration will soon host several high profile exhibitions
featuring Norman Rockwell: The Star on our Flag; The Great American
Imagists; and Maxfield Parrish's Magnum Opus - all of these and others actively seek
support and funding.
